Kunlun Energy Company Limited is an investment holding company engaged in the exploration, development, production, and sale of crude oil and natural gas in Kazakhstan, Oman, and Thailand. It operates through four segments: Natural Gas Sales; Sales of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG); Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Processing and Terminal; and Exploration and Production. The company also processes, unloads, stores, gasifies, and entrucks LNG, and trades, distributes, and retails natural gas and LPG products. Formerly CNPC (Hong Kong) Limited, it changed its name to Kunlun Energy Company Limited in March 2010. Incorporated in 1991 and based in Hong Kong, it operates as a subsidiary of PetroChina Hong Kong Limited.
