It operates through four segments: Piped Gas Transmission and Distribution, Cylinder Gas Supply, Gas Distribution, and Food Ingredients Supply and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). The company was formerly known as Chinese People Gas Holdings Company Limited and changed its name to Chinese People Holdings Company Limited in 2007. Incorporated in 1996, it is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
