Interactive Brokers Partners With Daol to Expand in South Korea
Interactive Brokers Group has entered a strategic collaboration with Daol Investment & Securities to provide eligible South Korean investors with cost-effective access to global equities. The partnership leverages Daol's local market presence and client relationships while IBKR supplies the technology and infrastructure for international investing, reinforcing its white-label and introducing-broker capabilities. Daol also plans to expand access to markets, derivatives, and direct-investment services in South Korea for overseas investors, creating a broader two-way global investment platform. The collaboration is not expected to impact IBKR's near-term financial results but could support long-term growth by expanding its South Korean client reach and increasing trading activity. In July 2026, IBKR's daily average revenue trades rose 27% year over year to 4.43 million, client accounts grew 34% to 5.32 million, client equity increased 32% to $906.7 billion, and margin loan balances jumped 49% to $100.7 billion.
