The company also provides services and products including ixi-O, U+ one, Youdok, U+ Internet, U+ IPTV, U+ Smart Home, PQC VPN, Alphakey, cloud security pack, AI Bix Call, AI CCTV, U+ Connect, C-ITS, AI data centers, and AI contact centers, along with cable broadcasting, MVNO and media content, broadband international circuit, customer center and telemarketing operation service cable broadcasting, and electric vehicle charging. Formerly known as LG Telecom Ltd, it changed its name to LG Uplus Corp. in July 2010, was incorporated in 1996, and is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea.

LG Uplus Reports Higher Q2 Net Income Despite Revenue Decline

LG Uplus Corp. reported higher second-quarter net income despite a decline in revenue. Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company rose to KRW 219.7 billion from KRW 219.5 billion a year earlier. Operating income increased to KRW 344.5 billion from KRW 304.5 billion. Sales fell to KRW 3.69 trillion from KRW 3.84 trillion. The company's shares closed 0.54% higher at KRW 15,000 on the Korean Stock Exchange.
