Tencent has announced broader international access to its Tencent Hy3 large language model, offering the model through WorkBuddy, Tencent Design Miora, and Tencent Cloud TokenHub. Users can access Hy3 free of charge on WorkBuddy until 31 August 2026 Pacific Time, while developers can integrate it via API and third-party platforms. The model features 295 billion total parameters with 21 billion active parameters and a 256K context length, and it recorded over 68 times more API calls than its predecessor, ranking first on OpenRouter's global LLM usage leaderboard within a week of launch. Hy3 is also available through regional partners such as South Korea's Cafe24 and Japan's Metelix, and under the Apache 2.0 license for open-source use. API pricing on OpenRouter starts at US$0.1288 per million input tokens and US$0.5336 per million output tokens.
