Paladin Limited is an investment holding company engaged in property investment and the research and development of high technology systems and applications in Hong Kong, Finland, and internationally. It operates through two segments: Property Investment and Research and Development. The company invests in and leases properties, and develops battery-operated portable x-ray imaging systems for security and counter-intelligence applications such as baggage scanning, border control, explosive detection, forensic investigation, and event security. It also develops imaging, surveillance, navigation, and semiconductor processing technologies, and manufactures algorithm and software solutions, image sensors, and autonomous mobile robotic solutions. Formerly known as Paladin International Limited, the company was incorporated in 1988 and is based in Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
