Sino Oil and Gas Holdings Limited is an investment holding company involved in coalbed methane exploration, development, and production in Hong Kong and the People's Republic of China. It also conducts raw coal washing and sells raw and cleaned coal, exploits and sells crude oil and natural gas, and provides financial services. The company holds an interest in the Sanjiao block CBM field, which covers 383 square kilometers in the Ordos Basin, China. Formerly Genesis Energy Holdings Limited, it changed its name in July 2010, was incorporated in 1999, and is based in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong.
