Peptron, Inc. develops peptide-based medicines. Its technologies include long-acting formulations and SmartDepot, an ultrasonic spray drying technology used to prepare sustained-release injectable microsphere formulations of drugs. Its research and development products include Luphere Depot for prostate cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, premenopausal breast cancer, and puberty; SR-Octreotide for acromegaly; SR-Exenatide for type 2 diabetes; and SR-Exenatide (PT320) for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.
