It also provides DNA/RNA polymerases for technology development in life science, molecular diagnostics, NGS, and synthetic biology, proteinase for microbiological diagnostics and liquid biopsies, and ligases for joining nucleic acids. Formerly known as Biotec Pharmacon ASA, it changed its name to ArcticZymes Technologies ASA in June 2020, was founded in 1990, and is headquartered in Tromsø, Norway.
