Ercros, S.A. manufactures and sells chemical and pharmaceutical products in Spain and internationally. It operates through three segments: Chlorine Derivatives, Intermediate Chemicals, and Pharmaceuticals. Its products include ammonia, caustic soda and potash, chlorine derivatives, polyvinyl chloride, sulfuric acid, and other industrial chemicals, as well as generic active pharmaceutical ingredients and customized production of antibiotics, anti-hypertensives, and anti-ulcer drugs. The company was formerly known as S.A. Cros and changed its name to Ercros, S.A. in June 1989. Founded in 1817, it is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain.
