MM Board & Paper to acquire RDM Arnsberg carton board mill
MM Board & Paper has agreed to acquire the operating business of the RDM Arnsberg recycled fibre-based carton board mill in Germany from the RDM Group through an asset transaction. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Arnsberg site has a production capacity of approximately 230,000 tonnes per annum of recycled fibre-based carton board, with a particular focus on liner products. MM said the deal complements its core operations and is expected to create synergies with its existing German industrial base, raising production flexibility, strengthening security of supply, and expanding its product and service range. All employees at the mill will transfer to MM, and the transaction is subject to antitrust approvals with closing expected in the fourth quarter of 2026.
