Its activities include transportation, sanitation, water and waste treatment infrastructure, large-scale civil engineering, industrial transport infrastructure and building projects, as well as water treatment, purification, desalination and reuse, and the operation and maintenance of facilities. The company was formerly known as Sacyr Vallehermoso S.A. and changed its name to Sacyr, S.A. in August 2013. It is based in Madrid, Spain.
