Peyto Exploration & Development Corp., along with its subsidiaries, explores for, develops, and produces natural gas, oil, and natural gas liquids in Alberta's deep basin. The company was formerly known as Peyto Energy Trust and changed its name to Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. in January 2011. It was incorporated in 1997 and is headquartered in Calgary, Canada.
