S&W Corporation provides marine engine components in South Korea. Its offerings include diesel engine parts such as cams, camshafts, valve and seat rings, and engine bolts and nuts. The company also supplies industrial bolts, including stud bolts and hex bolts assembled with flanges, for the petrochemical and construction industries, as well as surface-treated galvanizing and coating bolts to ocean project companies and shipbuilders, and bolts and screws for heavy industries and power plants. In addition, it provides forged products to the heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automobile industries. S&W Corporation was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Busan, South Korea.

S&W adds Stephane Kurgan and Luke Powell as independent non-executive directors

UK-based accounting and advisory practice S&W has appointed Stephane Kurgan and Luke Powell to its board as independent non-executive directors. The company said in a statement that Kurgan and Powell bring deep experience in scaling businesses, guiding complex organisations, and supporting long-term value generation. Kurgan has been a venture partner at Index Ventures since 2020 and also serves as an executive adviser to Technology Crossover Ventures, with a career spanning more than 30 years in senior technology roles. Powell is a managing partner at Macfarlanes, currently in his second three-year term, and advises on complex deals across financial services, asset management, and private equity. CEO Andrew Wilkes stated that their combined expertise will strengthen the board and provide valuable strategic insight as S&W pursues its long-term growth strategy.
