POLARIS UNO, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, operates in the synthetic fiber and chemical businesses in South Korea, China, Africa, Indonesia, and other international markets. Its products include PVC wig fibers sold under the Falang brand, braid fibers under the Acra brand, high-temperature and flame-retardant fibers under the UNOLON brand, as well as wig oils and glues. The company also offers optical materials such as allyl, photochromic, and blue cut monomers, along with a photochromic dye that changes color when exposed to sunlight and reverts indoors or when sunlight is blocked. Its products are exported to approximately 20 countries, including Southeast Asia. Formerly known as UNO&COMPANY.,LTD., the company changed its name to POLARIS UNO, Inc. in March 2022. It was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Wanju-gun, South Korea.
