Oriental Union Chemical Corporation produces and sells ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol, and related chemical products, primarily in Taiwan and internationally. Its MEG is used in polyester fiber, antifreeze, dehumidifiers, engineering plastics, PET bottles, and brake fluids; DEG is used in dehumidifiers, lubricants, dye levelers, polyurethane and unsaturated polyester resins, solvents, and grinding aids; and EO is used in raw materials for ethylene glycol, glycol ether, ethanol ether, non-ionic surfactants, and disinfectants. The company also supplies gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide for various industrial applications, as well as surfactants, performance chemicals, construction chemicals, solvent and amine chemicals, and fine chemicals. It serves customers in the electronics, semiconductor, textile, construction, chemical, and industrial manufacturing sectors. Incorporated in 1975, it is headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan.
