It also involved in the redevelopment, public-private partnership/private finance initiative, property management, in-house development, and condominium sales projects; and provision of planning, surveying, designing, supervising, construction and installation, engineering, management, and consulting services for building works, civil engineering works, plant installation works, and other construction works. In addition, the company engages in the regional, urban, ocean, aerospace, resources development; leasing; soil cleanup, environmental conservation, such as water cleanup of river, lake and harbor, collection, transportation, arrangement, disposal and reuse of wastes, and construction by-products; land, sea, and air transportation business and agency businesses; and acquiring, licensing and sale of industrial property rights, copyrights, etc. Further, it offers information processing, lending money, guaranteeing liabilities, and non-life insurance and life insurance soliciting services; develops, licenses, and sells computer software; and acts as a personnel placement agency. Additionally, the company invests in real-property-related SPCs and real-estate trust funds; and sales and purchases equity interests. The company was formerly known as Nippon Doboku Corporation and changed its name to Taisei Corporation in 1946. Taisei Corporation was founded in 1873 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Japan Airport Terminal to sell 10 million shares; Mizuho Bank and others to divest

Japan Airport Terminal announced on the 24th that it will sell 10 million shares. Financial institutions including Mizuho Bank and Taisei Corporation will sell their holdings. The offering price will be determined based on demand and other factors, with a preliminary range calculated by multiplying the closing price on any day from September 2 to 7 by 0.90 to 1.00. In addition, depending on demand, an overallotment of up to 1.5 million shares will be offered. Nomura Securities, one of the joint lead managers, will sell Japan Airport Terminal shares borrowed from shareholders. Japan Airport Terminal also announced a share buyback of up to 3.5 million shares, equivalent to 3.8% of outstanding shares, with a maximum value of 15 billion yen, to mitigate the impact of the offering on share supply and demand. The repurchase period runs from October 1 to March 31, 2027.
