Heartseed Inc. develops and commercializes iPS cell-derived cardiomyocyte replacement therapy for heart failure. Its lead product, HS-001, targets heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, including dilated cardiomyopathy, old myocardial infarction, and dilated phase of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. The company also develops products using autologous iPSC and HLA knock-out iPSC, and offers differentiation induction, mass culture, purification, and myocardial globule production technologies. Incorporated in 2015, it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
