It operates through two segments: Biologics and XDC. The company provides a suite of solutions for biologic discovery, from concept to IND, that seamlessly transits to CMC and downstream process development through its contract research, development, and manufacturing organization platforms, including WuXiBody, SDArBodY, T cell engager, Tumor Associated Antigens ("TAA") mAb Technology, Single B Cell Cloning Technology, WuXia, WuXiUP, WuXiUI, and WuXiHigh. It engages in the provision of consultation services in relation to the biopharmaceutical technology, international sales contracting services, testing and development of testing technologies, sales and marketing services, production and sales of medicals, and biologics clinical and manufacturing services; research and development in relation to biologics; international sales contracting service; vaccine contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) and related business; development, production, and distribution of biotechnological products; and engages in investment and material supplier activities. WuXi Biologics (Cayman) Inc. was incorporated in 2014 and is headquartered in Wuxi, China.

Haier Biomedical reports higher first-half revenue and profit, with emerging businesses accelerating

Haier Biomedical has released its 2026 interim report. First-half operating revenue reached a record high of 1.296 billion yuan, up 8.45 percent year on year, while net profit attributable to the parent company was 147 million yuan, up 3.28 percent. Both revenue and profit growth in the second quarter were faster than in the first quarter. Pharmaceutical customers were the main driver of revenue growth, with related revenue up 23 percent in the first half. Domestically, the company deepened cooperation with leading pharmaceutical firms including WuXi Biologics, GenSci, Pien Tze Huang and Qilu Pharmaceutical. Overseas, it newly entered research and production bases in countries such as the United Kingdom and Singapore, and has now served nearly half of the world's top 25 pharmaceutical companies. Growth continued in major global markets, with the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States together rising 17 percent. Smart medication solutions expanded rapidly into 10 countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. The low-temperature business grew 13 percent year on year, achieving positive growth for four consecutive quarters. The laboratory solutions business grew 19 percent, and the smart medication business grew 11 percent. Revenue from AI-related businesses rose to 18 percent of total revenue, up 3 percentage points from 2025. The company expects both revenue and profit growth to accelerate in the second half, with full-year profit growth broadly matching revenue growth.

Duoning Biotech, as a strategic supplier, will provide core consumables including culture media, filter membranes, and chromatography resins, along with supporting hardware solutions, to help achieve process synergy, cost reduction, and supply chain stability.

Ruiyuan Fund Q2 Reports: Fu Pengbo Initiates Position in Focuslight Technologies, Zhao Feng Re-enters WuXi Biologics

The products managed by two star fund managers at Ruiyuan Fund, Fu Pengbo and Zhao Feng, have disclosed their second-quarter 2026 reports, revealing their latest top ten heavy-weight holdings. The Ruiyuan Growth Value Hybrid Fund, managed by Fu Pengbo and Zhu Lin, initiated a position in Focuslight Technologies for the first time with 4.5277 million shares, while significantly reducing holdings in Zhongji Innolight and Dongshan Precision. Its Hong Kong stock allocation dropped to a historic low of 3.35%. The Ruiyuan Balanced Value Three-Year Holding Fund, managed by Zhao Feng, bought back into WuXi Biologics after a one-year hiatus, with a position of 9.4275 million shares, and increased holdings in ZTO Express and China Resources Land. At the end of the second quarter, the Ruiyuan Growth Value Hybrid Fund had a net asset value of 22.201 billion yuan, an increase of 4.045 billion yuan from the end of the first quarter, with the Class A share net value growth rate at 45.79%. In their quarterly reports, the two fund managers stated that the portfolio added targets in high-power semiconductor lasers and micro-nano optical solutions, reduced holdings in internet technology companies, and believe that the high returns implied by excessively low valuations are certain.
