Lenovo Group Ltd shares surged as much as 22% in Hong Kong to another record after the Chinese computer maker reported a 43% increase in quarterly revenue, beating analyst estimates by a wide margin and reinforcing optimism around AI-driven demand. The stock extended its gains this year to more than 280%, cementing its position as the top performer on the Hang Seng China Enterprise Index. Citigroup analysts including Kyna Wong wrote that the results delivered a strong broad-based beat, reinforcing the structural AI-driven growth narrative. NVIDIA announced a series of deals in South Korea with tech giants including SK Hynix and Naver, aiming to secure memory chips for its AI ambitions, Reuters reported on June 8.
