Wangsu Science & Technology Cloudsway Equity Transfer Delayed, Plans to Sell Entire Stake in Hong Kong Shenjia

Wangsu Science & Technology announced that due to objective factors causing some post-closing matters to not be completed on schedule, the transaction in which its wholly-owned subsidiary Hong Kong Wangsu Technology transfers its 42.2997% stake in Cloudsway Pte. Ltd. to related party Liu Chengyan or his controlled entity Fromindo Limited has had the deadline for fulfilling related obligations extended to August 20, 2026. In addition, to fulfill closing obligations, Hong Kong Wangsu plans to transfer 100% equity of Hong Kong Shenjia to Cloudsway's wholly-owned subsidiary HongKong Cloudsway at an appraised value of 100,000 US dollars. Currently, except for the MSP business and some overseas procurement contracts, the remaining business assets, contracts, and creditor-debt relationships of Hong Kong Shenjia have been substantially transferred. After the transaction is completed, the company will no longer hold equity in Hong Kong Shenjia, and it will no longer be included in the consolidated financial statements. In the first quarter of 2026, Wangsu Science & Technology achieved revenue of 1.116 billion yuan and net profit attributable to the parent company of 121 million yuan.

Shenzhen-listed companies launch intensive buybacks and share purchases, with July plans capped at 69.3 billion yuan

Companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange have recently been disclosing progress on buybacks and share purchases at a rapid pace. Since July, a total of 478 announcements on buybacks and share purchases have been made, with 147 new plans added. The combined upper limit for planned share purchases and buybacks has reached 69.306 billion yuan. Sanhuan Group completed an 895 million yuan buyback on July 30 and immediately launched a new buyback plan worth between 500 million and 1 billion yuan. Wangsu Science and Technology plans to spend 300 million to 600 million yuan on share buybacks and cancel all repurchased shares. Sanhua Intelligent Controls completed its first buyback of nearly 100 million yuan. Qu Jianguo, the actual controller of Canature Health, proposed spending 25 million to 50 million yuan on buybacks. Sieyuan Information launched a buyback plan of 30 million to 60 million yuan. Five senior executives, including Hou Zhenfu, chairman of Guangzhi Technology, plan to increase their shareholdings by a combined upper limit of 22 million yuan. Xinghui New Materials has cumulatively repurchased 2.1367 million shares, with a transaction value of approximately 80.6584 million yuan. Industry insiders say the intensive buybacks and share purchases are both a rational response to valuation levels and are expected to further bolster investor confidence.
