Baolijia swings to loss in 2026 interim report; operating cash flow improves

Baolijia released its 2026 interim report. Affected by weak downstream demand in the real estate sector and intensifying industry competition, the company swung from profit to loss, but cash flow from operating activities improved significantly. During the reporting period, the company achieved operating revenue of 848 million yuan, down 8.47 percent year on year. Net profit attributable to the parent company was negative 29 million yuan, swinging from profit to loss compared with the same period last year. Net profit after deducting non-recurring items was negative 32 million yuan, with the loss widening markedly from a year earlier. Net cash flow from operating activities was 94 million yuan, up 47.43 percent year on year, mainly because the company strengthened supply chain capital management and the proportion of payments made through acceptance bills increased. Architectural emulsion remained the core revenue source, generating 462 million yuan and accounting for more than half of total revenue. However, affected by the decline in completed floor area of real estate, revenue in this segment fell 9.10 percent year on year, and gross margin dropped 3.97 percentage points to 7.65 percent. Waterproofing emulsion achieved revenue of 180 million yuan, up 7.45 percent year on year, making it one of the few segments that maintained growth. The company's Yingcheng base in Hubei began trial production in the first half of the year. Coordination among its five major domestic bases and its Southeast Asia overseas layout will help reduce transportation costs and respond to regional demand.
