Hongjing Optoelectronics' net profit falls nearly 20% in the year after listing

Hongjing Optoelectronics disclosed its 2026 semi-annual report, achieving operating revenue of 832 million yuan, up 18.67% year on year, but net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 60.5258 million yuan, down 19.86% year on year, and non-GAAP net profit was 55.8006 million yuan, a decline of 24.05%. The company explained that rising production costs for camera modules, research and development expenses up 53.22% year on year to 58.8805 million yuan, and selling expenses up 51.89% year on year led to period expenses of 108 million yuan, an increase of 28.762 million yuan year on year. The gross margin of emerging consumer camera modules fell to 13.70%, and the gross margin of intelligent automotive camera modules was only 6.00%, a sharp year-on-year decline of 12.82 percentage points. The company's net cash flow from operating activities turned positive to 27.2158 million yuan, but net cash flow from financing activities fell 83.94% year on year to 84.2591 million yuan, mainly because IPO proceeds were received in the previous period.
