Alpen has launched Testnet III on Bitcoin Signet, marking the start of its partner integration phase ahead of mainnet. More than 21 launch partners across infrastructure, applications, and distribution are preparing to integrate on Testnet III, which provides a persistent public environment under mainnet-like constraints without real BTC at risk. The testnet introduces a garbled circuit-based verifier with a significantly smaller onchain footprint, reducing staking costs and user fees, and features an evolved orchestration layer that decouples Alpen and its Strata bridge for upgradeability. This is Alpen's most realistic operational environment to date, moving the project from core infrastructure development into shared ecosystem preparation for Bitcoin-native financial markets.
