Keysight and WIN Semiconductors launch automated GaN MMIC design workflow for 5G hardware
Keysight Technologies and WIN Semiconductors have launched a joint automated MMIC design workflow for GaN RF and 5G hardware. The workflow connects multi-domain simulation and verification in a single environment to support tapeout success for GaN MMIC chips. The collaboration targets applications in 5G infrastructure, Wi-Fi, satellites, and defense hardware. GaN-based power and RF devices are being adopted across wireless infrastructure, aerospace, and defense, increasing technical pressure on chip designers and manufacturing partners. This joint workflow illustrates how Keysight is positioning its software and simulation stack around GaN MMIC development.
