PixArt Imaging Inc. and its subsidiaries research, design, produce, and sell CMOS image sensors and related ICs in Taiwan and internationally. Its products include optical mouse, tracking, and finger navigation sensors, optical encoders, gesture recognition, distance sensing, ambient light and proximity sensing, health management and far infrared sensors, Bluetooth low energy products, global shutter image sensors, capacitive touch products, and customized ASIC services. These products are used in computers and peripherals, smart homes, wearables, gaming controllers, automotive, surveillance, industrial automation, and other applications. The company was incorporated in 1998 and is headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
