Stella Chemifa Corporation manufactures and sells high-purity chemical products in Japan and internationally. Its products include hydrofluoric acid, buffered hydrofluoric acid, and etching solutions for semiconductors and liquid crystal products; fluoride compounds for optical materials and batteries; and boron trifluoride derivatives for reactive catalysts. The company also provides fluorides for surface treatment and CFC alternatives, products for nuclear energy applications, and GMP-compliant tin fluoride (II) USP. In addition, it operates a transportation business and develops Boron Neutron Capture therapy for cancer treatment. Formerly Hashimoto Chemical Corporation, it changed its name to Stella Chemifa Corporation in 1997, was founded in 1916, and is headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
