SourceNext's US and European Subsidiaries Turn Profitable in August

SourceNext announced on the 8th that its US subsidiary Pocketalk and its Dutch subsidiary Pocketalk both achieved monthly operating profit in August 2026. The US entity's operating margin was 14.9%, while the European entity's was 29.5%. For the US entity, this marked the first monthly profit since the operational restructuring, and for the European entity, it was the fourth consecutive month of profitability. The European entity realized an annual operating profit improvement of approximately 300 million yen through measures such as optimizing its distributor network, staffing, and promotional expenses. The US entity also implemented similar fixed-cost optimization measures starting in June. Additionally, growing demand for multilingual communication in US educational settings boosted sales of 'Pocketalk for Schools,' contributing to the turnaround.
