Harima Chemicals Group, Inc. manufactures and sells chemicals in Japan, China, the rest of Asia, South and North America, Europe, and other international markets. It operates through three segments: Resins and Chemicals, Paper Chemicals, and Electronics Materials. The Resins and Chemicals segment offers resins for paints, printing inks, and adhesives, emulsifiers for synthetic rubber, and tall oil products. The Paper Chemicals segment provides paper strength agents, sizing agents, coating agents, and barrier coating agents, while the Electronics Materials segment offers soldering materials, brazing materials for heat exchangers, and functional resins for semiconductors. The company also manufactures and sells industrial detergents and provides real estate management services. Formerly known as Harima Chemicals, Inc., it changed its name to Harima Chemicals Group, Inc. in October 2012, was incorporated in 1947, and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
