AnGes, Inc. is a company engaged in the research and development of gene-based medicines. Its pipeline includes an HGF gene therapy product for chronic arterial occlusive disease, an NF-KB decoy oligonucleotide for chronic discogenic lumbar back pain, and DNA vaccines for hypertension, along with tie2 agonists for COVID-19/ARDS and drugs for chronic hepatitis B. Formerly known as AnGes MG, Inc., it changed its name to AnGes, Inc. in July 2017. The company was incorporated in 1999 and is headquartered in Ibaraki, Japan.
