Game and entertainment stocks in the morning session: Cave extends gains, Silicon Studio extends losses, ANYCOLOR bought
In the morning session of the Tokyo stock market on July 15, game and entertainment-related stocks were under selling pressure, with 34 of the 99 registered issues rising, 58 falling, and 7 unchanged. Among individual stocks, Cave extended its gains on expectations of a V-shaped earnings recovery, while Silicon Studio extended its losses following a downward revision. ANYCOLOR was bought after Mizuho Securities initiated coverage with a new Buy rating. The Nikkei Stock Average ended the morning session at 68,353.91 yen, up 610.41 yen from the previous trading day, as the rally in high-tech stocks spread following a retreat in rate hike expectations after the US consumer price index data.
