Langler Air Reports Perth Households Switching to Ducted Reverse Cycle Heating After Tariff Reset

Perth installer Langler Air says households are switching to ducted reverse cycle systems this winter following the state’s electricity tariff reset on 1 July. The standard Synergy home tariff now sits at 32.37 cents per kilowatt hour, and reverse cycle heating is among the cheapest options, producing several units of heat for each unit of electricity used. Interest in ducted systems has lifted through autumn and early winter, with many replacing ageing gas heaters and portable electric units. Langler Air, a Balcatta-based supply-and-install specialist operating for more than 30 years, notes that winter remains the quietest period for installers, shortening waiting times compared with the summer rush. The company is a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer and also installs Daikin and Rinnai systems, with every job starting from an on-site consultation.
