Bird's First-Half Report Shows Revenue Growth but Profit Decline; Automotive Business Scales Up While Cash Flow Comes Under Pressure
Bird has disclosed its semi-annual report for 2026. The company achieved operating revenue of 265 million yuan, up 17.24 percent year on year, but net profit attributable to the parent company was 3.67 million yuan, down 7.03 percent year on year, showing revenue growth without profit growth. The automotive module business became the core engine of revenue growth, generating 133 million yuan in revenue, with overseas automotive central control products shipping in volume. However, the traditional mobile phone and accessories business recorded revenue of 656 million yuan, only basically maintaining balance. Affected by rising memory costs, the company increased inventory buildup, with the closing inventory balance surging 77.21 percent from the beginning of the period. Net cash flow from operating activities was negative 32.99 million yuan, with the net outflow widening. Non-recurring net profit was negative 1.17 million yuan, with the loss narrowing compared with the same period last year, and the main business has not yet achieved a substantive turnaround.
