Wolong New Energy expects attributable net profit to fall 82% year-on-year in the first half of 2026

Wolong New Energy has disclosed its earnings forecast, expecting attributable net profit of 14.8 million yuan in the first half of 2026, down 82% year-on-year. Deducted non-recurring net profit is expected to be 14 million yuan, down 76% year-on-year. The company explained that the decline in performance was mainly due to the investment income generated from the sale of a 90% stake in Wolong Mining Shanghai Company Limited in the first half of 2025, and the fact that Shanghai Mining was no longer included in the consolidated financial statements, leading to a year-on-year decrease in profit. At the same time, the wholly-owned subsidiary Shaoxing Shangyu Wolong Tianxiang Nanyuan Real Estate Development Company Limited completed the land value-added tax settlement and recorded it in the current profit and loss, which also contributed to the year-on-year decline in profit.
