China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, engages in hydropower generation business in China, Portugal, Peru, Brazil, and Pakistan. The company operates the Three Gorges, Gezhouba, Xiluodu, Xiangjiaba, Wudongde, and Baihetan hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 71.695 MW. It also engages in smart integrated energy; new energy; power distribution and sales; investment and financing; and pumped storage businesses, as well as overseas power station operation, maintenance, management, and consultation services. China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd., was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.

Dividend Quality Index constituents Grandblue Environment and Yangtze Power set July 16 as record date

Dividend Quality Index constituents Grandblue Environment and Yangtze Power will both set July 16 as the equity record date. According to the annual equity distribution implementation announcements released by the two companies on July 10, Grandblue Environment will pay a cash dividend of 0.80 yuan per share, including tax, and Yangtze Power will pay 0.79 yuan per share, including tax. The ex-dividend and ex-rights date for both is July 17. These two stocks are constituents of the Dividend Quality Index, which selects 50 listed company securities with consecutive cash dividends, relatively high dividend payout ratios, and strong profitability as samples. As of July 15, the index had a dividend yield of 2.97 percent over the past year. The only ETF tracking this index is the ChinaAMC Dividend Quality ETF.

Yangtze Power's first-half 2026 power generation reaches 132.744 billion kWh, up 4.81% year-on-year

Yangtze Power announced that in the first half of 2026, the total power generation of its six cascade hydropower stations reached approximately 132.744 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 4.81 percent year-on-year. Among them, the Three Gorges Power Station generated 45.073 billion kilowatt-hours, up 31.62 percent year-on-year; Gezhouba Power Station generated 9.115 billion kilowatt-hours, up 11.05 percent. Due to a 16.94 percent decline in water inflow, Wudongde Power Station generated 12.451 billion kilowatt-hours, down 16.76 percent year-on-year; Baihetan Power Station generated 24.392 billion kilowatt-hours, down 5.05 percent; Xiluodu Power Station generated 26.704 billion kilowatt-hours, down 4.51 percent; Xiangjiaba Power Station generated 15.009 billion kilowatt-hours, down 3.73 percent.
