Suli Co.'s H1 flame retardant average price rises over 40% year-on-year

Suli Co. disclosed its main operating data for the first half of 2026. In the first half, pesticides and pesticide intermediates achieved operating revenue of 840 million yuan, while flame retardants and flame retardant intermediates achieved operating revenue of 390 million yuan. Among these, the average selling price of flame retardants and flame retardant intermediates was 51,800 yuan per tonne, up 40.76% from 36,800 yuan per tonne in the same period last year, mainly due to cost pass-through from rising bromine prices triggered by international geopolitical conditions, with selling prices of products such as decabromodiphenyl ethane and brominated polystyrene raised. The average selling price of pesticides and pesticide intermediates was 35,200 yuan per tonne, up 4.76% year-on-year. On the raw materials side, the average purchase price of bromine in the first half was 37,200 yuan per tonne, up 85.07% year-on-year, mainly because overseas bromine supply contracted, import sources tightened, and domestic supply was also tight.
