UpBank first-half net loss widens to 226 million yen

UpBank announced its results after the close on August 13, with consolidated net loss for the first half of the fiscal year ending December 2026 coming to 226 million yen, widening from a loss of 82 million yen in the same period a year earlier. For the April-June quarter, the most recent three months, consolidated net loss also widened to 152 million yen from 40 million yen a year earlier, but the operating loss margin improved to minus 11.8 percent from minus 14.4 percent.
