JPT to Acquire 100% of NEOPTICS for SGD 1.12 Million

JPT announced plans to acquire 100% equity in NEOPTICS PTE. LTD., directly held by company director and general manager Cheng Xueping, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Singapore JPT using its own funds of SGD 1.12 million, in order to further strengthen the product layout and sales network for its optical connectivity business. Upon completion of the transaction, the target company will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of JPT and be included in the consolidated financial statements. The company stated that the acquisition can, to a certain extent, mitigate and reduce operational risks arising from trade frictions, and is conducive to deepening its international market layout by leveraging overseas location advantages and trade benefits, thereby further expanding into overseas markets.
