SWANCOR New Materials' new CEO speaks for the first time on personal robot strategy

SWANCOR New Materials' new CEO Tian Hua recently made his first public remarks, explaining why the company entered the personal robot sector after a change in ownership. Tian believes personal robots could become a new gateway connecting the physical world and artificial intelligence, but this is a long-term industry goal, not something achievable in the short term. He proposed a three-wave curve theory for personal robot development, noting the company is focusing on capturing the second and third curves: the content-dependent stage and the stage where functionality, emotional value, and asset value converge. SWANCOR Qiyuan has already opened offline experience stores in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xi'an, and other cities to accelerate commercialization. Tian stressed that home scenarios must evolve gradually from simple tasks and settings, with safety as the baseline and intelligence as the ceiling. As of the close on July 3, SWANCOR New Materials' stock price stood at 173.50 yuan, up 7.11%, with a market value of nearly 70 billion yuan. Since its launch in July 2025, the stock has surged more than 21 times cumulatively.
