Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has released the FLUOROspeed X1 edition ST, a patient-side conventional RF table system. The system supports a 665-pound static patient weight capacity and a 500-pound all-motion weight capacity, making it suitable for bariatric and routine fluoroscopic and radiographic exams. Standard features include an ambidextrous control handle, fingertip access to APR and image recording functions, and programmable buttons, along with enhancements such as a cross-hair line marker for radiation-free positioning, LED under-deck lighting, a lead apron with a transparent viewing window, and RDSR on all systems.
