Arcellx Inc

Arcellx, Inc. develops immunotherapies for cancer and other incurable diseases in the United States. Its lead ddCAR candidate, anitocabtagene autoleucel, is in Phase 2 trials for relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma (rrMM). The company also develops ACLX-001 (Phase 1, targeting BCMA for rrMM), ACLX-002 (Phase 1, targeting CD123 for relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome), and preclinical ACLX-004 for AML and MDS, as well as solid tumor programs. It has a strategic alliance with Kite Pharma to co-develop and co-commercialize nito-cel and next-generation autologous and non-autologous CAR-T therapies. Formerly Encarta Therapeutics, Inc., it changed its name to Arcellx, Inc. in January 2016, was incorporated in 2014, and is headquartered in Redwood City, California. As of April 28, 2026, it operates as a subsidiary of Gilead Sciences, Inc.
