SpineGuard Reports H1 2026 Loss on US Asset Sale Costs
SpineGuard reported a net loss of 1,226 K€ for the first half of 2026, down from a loss of 1,083 K€ in the same period last year, as revenue fell 32% to 1,449 K€. The company attributed the decline to costs from selling its U.S. subsidiary's assets to Omnia Medical, the deferral of proceeds from that sale through 2032, and an inventory build-up. Excluding the deferral, the net loss would have been 221 K€, an 80% improvement. U.S. revenue dropped 47% to $776,000 due to the shift to a distribution model, while rest-of-world revenue rose to 785 K€, with European sales up 17%. SpineGuard aims to achieve operational breakeven in the fourth quarter of 2026 and believes it can cover financing needs through the second quarter of 2027.
