Ambiq Micro, Inc. provides ultra-low-power semiconductor solutions across the United States, Europe, Asia, and other international markets. It develops a sub-threshold power-optimized technology (SPOT) platform designed to reduce power consumption in both battery- and wireline-powered devices. Its flagship products include the Apollo family, which combines rich peripheral sets with host processors capable of software-based or vector-accelerated AI computations, and Atomiq, which targets AI applications with AI acceleration and new memory innovations. The company also offers the AmbiqSuite Software Development Kit (SDK), providing firmware and drivers for systems-on-chips (SoC), software modules such as graphiqSPOT for graphics and display management, blueSPOT for Bluetooth communications, and secureSPOT for security management, as well as AI enablement software. It serves markets requiring on-device and real-time AI, including smartwatches and fitness trackers, augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) glasses, smart rings, digital health monitors, security systems and access control, livestock tracking, crop monitoring, and factory automation. Products are sold through an internal direct sales force and a network of distributors and sales representatives. The company was formerly known as Cubiq Microchip, Inc. and changed its name to Ambiq Micro, Inc. in October 2012. It was incorporated in 2010 and is based in Austin, Texas.

Ambiq Micro Guides Q3 Revenue to $36-37 Million After Q2 Beat

Ambiq Micro reported second-quarter 2026 non-GAAP loss of 7 cents per share, narrower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of 26 cents and the year-ago loss of 43 cents per share. The company ended the quarter with $366.8 million in cash and cash equivalents and no debt, strengthened by approximately $168 million in net proceeds from its June follow-on offering.
