Aurinia settles Lupkynis patent litigation with Teva

Aurinia Pharmaceuticals has settled patent litigation with Teva Pharmaceutical Industries over Lupkynis, delaying any generic version of the drug until December 7, 2036, at the earliest. Teva had filed an Abbreviated New Drug Application to sell generic voclosporin, the active ingredient in Lupkynis. Aurinia still faces patent litigation against several other generic companies seeking to market generic voclosporin.
