The fund invests globally in fixed income markets, primarily in high yield securities such as preference shares, convertible and redeemable loan stocks, corporate bonds, and government bonds. It seeks non-investment grade securities across the maturity spectrum and benchmarks its performance against the FTSE All-Share Index and the FTSE Government Securities - All Stocks Index. Formerly known as City Merchants High Yield Trust Limited, the fund was formed on May 31, 1991 and is domiciled in Jersey, Channel Islands.
