The company serves government sectors such as medical schools and health centers, as well as private sectors such as clinics, hospitals, private medical laboratories, research institutes, and universities. BKGI first-half profit surges 400%, advancing Oncology and Genomics

Bangkok Genomics Innovation Public Company Limited, or BKGI, reported net profit of 62.05 million baht in the first half of 2026, up 400% from the same period last year. Total revenue was 309.39 million baht, up 103%. In the second quarter of 2026, net profit was 30.82 million baht, up 618%, and total revenue was 156.25 million baht, up 119%. The company plans to expand its cancer diagnostics business, or Oncology, and sell genetic testing platforms in the second half of the year. It will also launch new projects requiring low investment but with high revenue potential, and targets full-year 2026 revenue growth of 20 to 30%.

Dark horse stocks surge with strong profits as several companies post standout results

Several mid- and small-cap stocks reported standout profit growth for the second quarter of 2026. TITLE posted a profit of 251 million baht, up 32-fold, driven by the transfer of three major Phuket condominium projects, bringing first-half profit to nearly 293 million baht. CNT reported a profit of 159 million baht, up more than 1,900 percent, thanks to large construction projects and data center work. TKS posted a profit of 168 million baht, up 1,311 percent, boosted by share of profit from associates and its IT ecosystem portfolio. STGT reported first-half profit of 950 million baht, supported by a recovery in rubber gloves and higher margins. PAP posted first-half profit of 425 million baht and will pay a dividend of 9 satang per share. INSET has a backlog of more than 5.8 billion baht and is bidding for nine new projects worth over 5 billion baht. BKGI expects 2026 growth of up to 30 percent, driven by its cancer diagnostics business and government policies supporting genomic medicine.
