Beamr Imaging Ltd. has joined the VAST Cosmos Community as a Technology Partner, collaborating with VAST Data to deliver AI-powered video workflows for broadcasters and content owners. The partnership will debut at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, September 11–14, with a demonstration combining the VAST AI Operating System, NVIDIA Video Super Resolution, and Beamr's content-adaptive bitrate technology. This workflow enables upscaling of lower-resolution content to 1080p or 4K, with Beamr's encoding reducing file sizes by up to 50% compared to standard encoding. The pipeline also supports modernizing assets to HEVC or AV1 codecs, runs on NVIDIA RTX PRO GPUs, and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises. Beamr CEO Sharon Carmel and VAST Data's John Mao highlighted the economic benefits of enhancing existing media libraries at scale.

Beamr Imaging Ltd. announced it is bringing AI upscaling to live sports, broadcast, and streaming by integrating NVIDIA Video Super Resolution with its Emmy Award-winning content-adaptive bitrate encoding. The combined pipeline upscales HD feeds to a 4K viewing experience inside existing production chains while Beamr's CABR encoding delivers streams up to 50 percent smaller than standard encoding, avoiding the delivery-cost penalty that normally accompanies upscaling. The entire workflow runs on NVIDIA RTX PRO GPUs and can be deployed in the cloud or on-premises, with Beamr VISTA validating output quality through subjective viewer testing on customer content. Beamr will demonstrate the technology live at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam from September 11 to 14.
