CHEWA issues two bond tranches with maximum interest of 7.60%, subscription opens 14-16 September
Chewathai Public Company Limited, or CHEWA, is preparing to offer two tranches of long-term bonds with a maximum interest rate of 7.60% per annum to institutional and high-net-worth investors. Subscription opens from 14 to 16 September 2026. The first tranche has a tenor of 1 year and 7 months with a fixed interest rate of 7.40% per annum, and the second tranche has a tenor of 1 year and 11 months with a fixed interest rate of 7.60% per annum. Interest is paid every 3 months. The bonds are offered through 4 leading securities firms, with Chatcheewa Company Limited acting as guarantor and major shareholder with a 67.64% stake as of the end of 2025. The guarantor had total assets of 1.69 billion baht and shareholders' equity of 1.63 billion baht, representing approximately 96% of total assets, reflecting a capital structure with no significant debt burden. CHEWA operates primarily in residential real estate development. As of the second quarter of 2026, it had a backlog awaiting ownership transfer of 738 million baht, and it is also expanding into recurring income business with 4 rental factories in Amata City Industrial Estate, Rayong Province, which are expected to start generating revenue from the fourth quarter of 2026 onwards. High-net-worth investors can subscribe with a minimum of 100,000 baht and in multiples of 100,000 baht.
