CMO Signals Strong Year-End Events, Loaded with World-Class Projects

CMO or CMO expects the event industry in the second half of 2026 to move sideways in line with the volatile economy, but in the final quarter of the year, the market will enter its peak season, especially concerts, music festivals, and fan meetings of Thai and international artists, which continue to grow strongly and attract significant spending. Mr. Mongkol Seelathamphithak, Chief Executive Officer, revealed that the company focuses on selecting projects with appropriate profit margins, coupled with strict cost management, by utilizing internal resources across the group to reduce reliance on external hiring. For international and world-class events in the second half of the year, the company has been trusted to handle several groups, such as the World Bank Gala Dinner, MEGA Countdown 2027, as well as the "Runaway Concert 2026" by artist "Becky" Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, whose tickets sold out within hours and is scheduled for November 29, 2026, at ICONSIAM HALL, 7th floor. In addition, the company is also handling work for PTTEP in attending and exhibiting at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, in the fourth quarter of this year. Meanwhile, CMO is studying and investing in new technologies, including high-resolution LED equipment and projectors, as well as applying AI and immersive experience technologies to events, and is preparing to diversify risk by expanding its portfolio into museum and learning center businesses, as well as venue rental for series and commercial filming. For the first six months of 2026, CMO reported service revenue of 749.68 million baht, up 1.8% from 736.10 million baht in the same period last year, with a net profit of 0.82 million baht.
