Corero Network Security PLC saw its shares rise 10% to 8p after securing a combined $3.9 million in new agreements to deploy its sovereign cybersecurity defenses across the UK telecommunications sector and the global NeoCloud sector. The larger of the two deals is a five-year contract worth $3.4 million with a leading UK-based tier 1 fixed and mobile telecom provider, delivered with a strategic alliance partner, integrating SmartWall ONE and CORE platforms with advanced Layer 7 TLS protection to meet obligations under the Telecommunications Security Act and the UK Cyber Security and Resilience Bill. Separately, the company signed a three-year agreement worth $0.5 million to provide real-time DDoS protection for one of the world's largest NeoCloud operators, deploying the technology across two data centers to ensure high uptime and rapid response. These wins underscore the company's on-premises technology and strengthen its position in critical national infrastructure, with management eyeing further opportunities in AI and NeoCloud data center markets.

TierPoint has launched Adapt DDoS Protection, an always-on managed DDoS mitigation service delivered through its network and powered by Corero Network Security’s SmartWall ONE technology. The service is part of the TierPoint Adapt Platform managed security portfolio and is designed to keep applications available during modern DDoS attacks with low-latency detection, automated mitigation, customer-level reporting, and TierPoint operational support. TierPoint Chief Information Security Officer Paul Mazzucco said mitigation times have been reduced from minutes to seconds, helping customers maintain uninterrupted services even during active attacks. The launch results from a strategic relationship between TierPoint and Corero, combining TierPoint’s managed services leadership with Corero’s purpose-built DDoS protection technology. Adapt DDoS Protection is designed for clients with dedicated internet access, colocation, private cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments, and strengthens TierPoint’s broader Adapt Platform strategy, which includes MDR, managed firewall, anti-virus, and multi-factor authentication capabilities.
